Community & Vocation

 

We support the community in a number of ways including:

 

Blind Run - taking blind and partially sighted people to a weekly club.

 

Talking Newspapers - packing cassettes to be sent to those who cannot see to read

 

Kids Out - An annual visit to Paulton’s  Park for children from school special units

 

Solent Dolphin - an annual outing for children with physical impairment on a specially designed boat

 

Pantomime - providing seats for children and their careers for the annual Playhouse pantomime

 

Cubs chess - sponsoring a chess competition for Cub scouts

 

Financial support - providing small sums of money to support local events and people

We also organize visits to places and firms of interest to members
