Youth Opportunities

Interact

 

Interact is a Rotary-sponsored service club for young people ages 14-18. The program gives young people an opportunity to participate in fun, meaningful service projects while developing leadership skills and meeting new friends.

Through service activities, Interactors learn the importance of:

 Developing leadership skills and personal integrity

 Demonstrating helpfulness and respect for others

 Advancing international understanding and goodwill.

 

 

 

Rotary Youth Leadership Award (RYLA)

This is a project designed to provide both training and adventure. We regularly fund up to 4 individuals from local schools  to attend the rotary event. Also We provide members to help facilitate the course. For more details click here

Young Chef

Rotary organises a national cooking competition-. This year the winner of our cub round had made the regional finals

 

Youth Speaks

Rotary organises a national  public speaking competition-. This year both our intermediate and Senior teams from Bishops Wordsworth’s School made it to the district finals- For more details click here
