Purple for Polio

Salisbury Arts Centre was lit up in “Purple for Polio”, to celebrate the progress made against eliminating this disease by Rotary Clubs the world over.  There are only 2 countries with endemic polio and a last push is needed to eliminate it.  To find out more and to donate, please, go to:   http://www.endpolio.org

Salisbury Rotary have also arranged for Salisbury Playhouse to be lit up in purple.  The photos below show Alan Corkill (left) and Andy Williams with the clubs polio displays in the foyer of the theatre.

Salisbury have also got about 4,000 purple crocuses which the club will plant in Victoria Park.  Look out for them next spring!
